Anyone a cosplayer here? What shows and/or characters do you do? If you don't, do you want to? I just got through finishing a costume for an event this past weekend and I'm planning/starting another for an upcoming con.

Aaw. That sucks. I know a lot of people who've fallen out of cosplay. I don't think I could anytime soon, but I understand when people hang up their cosplay gear.

Actually, I'm cosplaying Turkey from Hetalia. In the webcomic, the creator sometimes does holiday events so for Halloween of 2011 Turkey, Egypt, and Greece had an Aladdin theme. As for the mask, Turkey just always has one on. I do need to watch Magi though now that you mention it.

While the anime is good, I'd actually recommend you read the webcomic instead. There's so much more and the anime is really picky with which comics they animate. It's all a very quick read. I suggest looking at the holiday events if you go that route. They're hilarious.

Kaoru and I went to a con last week (Kaoru as Nekozawa from Ouran High Host Club and myself as Turkey again). I'm so proud of bb's first cosplay so I'm gonna embarrass her and share it with you all. lol

Understandable. I wish you the best of luck and much fun. :3 I'm too impatient to wait until I lose weight though. I'll just be a fluffy cosplayer until then. lol Since it's Throwback Thursday, I guess I'll share one of my old cosplays! Elite 4 member Phoebe from Pokemon Ruby Sapphire Emerald. Debuted this in '11 I believe. Not my best, but it's a fun cosplay to do. Brings all the awesome Pokemon fans out.
